Join us at 8pm on Thursday 23 September for the fifth season of Soundings events. This concert is presented in cooperation with the Tweak Festival. The location is the beautifully restored Daghdha Space, John's Square, Limerick, Ireland.

This event is guest curated by Kerry Hagan and features special guests Rick Snow and Katalin Lukács from the University of California, San Diego. Katalin and Rick employ classical music virtuosity to new modes of expression through contemporary electroacoustic arts.

Also featured is a showcase of the talent at the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre, Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, University of Limerick. John Greenwood, Stephen McCourt, Robert Sazdov, Giuseppe Torre, Seamus Fogarty and Dave O'Mahoney are all post-graduates, lecturers or alumni of this thriving centre for musical excellence. See what living composers are doing with multiple speakers and new sounds!

Soundings is a continuing performance series designed to open the senses to new forms of music, sound art and media interaction. It is sponsored by DMARC at the University of Limerick and features a state of the art sound system.

Admission is only 10 euros at the door. University of Limerick students are free with student ID. Space is limited: first come, first served.
